Stanza (Verse)

Tyranny

You will meet her at the Ruins of Egering. It's wise to travel with her, at least in the early stages of the game, as it can be difficult to fight alone. She uses dual weapons and can use her bow, which makes her an ideal melee and medium range fighter. She is an attacking character, so it will be better to pump her fighting skills than her health (she can effectively use parries and dodge attacks). She has a well-developed Cunning that will help you open difficult locks.

Suggested leveling talents: Quickness and Refinement, sometimes Power.

Equipment: Dual weapons are characterized by high speed and bow. Add to this a set of light armor, which will allow the character to move even faster.

Barik

Tyranny

You can meet him at the Unfavorable camp. He can join your team during the Battle of the Path of the Damned. This character is a so-called "tank" that fights on the front line and does everything to make the enemies focus on him. He has well-developed Parry and Evasion, can carry a shield and has a decent vitality. His special ability is to lure enemies towards him.

Barik has a very special feature - you cannot replace his armor. This can make him a less effective character during subsequent stages; however, you can level up his armor well by creating a Blacksmith in your second Spire, and spending a sufficient number of blacksmiths and resources for this. Just remember that pumping armor requires a lot of rings.

Suggested leveling talents: Vitality and Quickness, sometimes Refinement.

Equipment: One-handed weapon and good shield.

Remember - If you support the Crimson Choir after your visit to the Tent of the Archons, (the final part of the Taking of the Outer Valley), Barik will leave your party forever.

Lantry

Tyranny

A sage who can heal and improve your party's skills (Glyph of Life and Energy). He is also a rather friendly character who often talks about his feelings and comments on his decisions. He uses the feather as a throwing weapon. Since this stat is not very advanced, you can change his weapon to a magic staff or even use two types of weapons (not recommended).

Suggested leveling talents: Wits and Vitality / Might depend on whether you prefer to heal or increase the defense of your allies.

Equipment: Throwing weapons or magic staff and light armor - this combination will allow him to cast spells and perform attacks with a large radius.

Note the fact that the weapons and magic used work well together: if you want to focus on Energy magic, you need to develop Might. If you prefer Healing magic, improve Vitality, and also slightly pump Mind, which determines how you use your magic staff.

Sirin

Tyranny

You will meet her in the tent of Camp Horus Scarlet. Your conversation can influence her reaction in the future. You can add her to your party in Lethian Crossing. She's not really a warrior, but she will support your team through the so-called Songs. Each lasts a few seconds, and has a different effect - lowering the abilities of your enemies or increasing your own. You can switch between songs by selecting the correct icon next to the Sirin image.

Of course, you shouldn't just focus on songs - her magic lies in offensive spells. Attention should be paid to the fact that the songs are performed continuously and are not affected by magic or melee attacks.

Suggested leveling talents: Vitality.

Equipment: Light or medium armor, magic staff. The helmet cannot be removed or changed, but it can be pumped at the Forge.

Kills-in-Shadow

Tyranny

The female beast that you will meet after the Voice of Kyros and travel in support of the Archon to begin another main quest. You will be ambushed and a simple dialogue will allow you to add a companion to your party. Kill-in-the-Shadow is easy to train and certainly a good solution for players who don't like to dig too deep in inventory (or can't afford expensive items). This character cannot be given any items other than attributes and weapons.

Suggested leveling talents: Refinement, Speed, and possibly Vitality.

Equipment: One-handed or two-handed weapons. You can also give nothing at all, since the character has claws.
