Armor and weapons play a big role in the game, not only affecting your abilities in combat, but also helping you complete the quest. One such example is Talmberg's armor, which, in addition, gives you the ability to escape from the castle at the beginning of the game without any suspicion.
To get it, you need to talk to Radim at the castle gates and inform him that you must leave and bury your parents. It is worth noting that you need a lock pick, which you can buy from the Wotawa merchant. The best way to make money at this stage is to steal everything that is bad and sell these things (but not Wotave). Once you have the master key, head to the castle. Once inside, look to the right at the row of stairs and go upstairs, which will lead you to the top of the wall. Turn right and you will immediately see a small room with a chest locked with a fairly light padlock.
At this stage, be sure to save, then enter the room and remember to close the door so no one can see you steal. Now just equip your armor and talk to Radim again and you will be released.
