The Irithyll Dungeon is a large area associated with the Defiled Capital. Full exploration of this place will be impossible without returning here via another route from the Capital. In addition to this, there you will find keys that open cells in the dungeon.
Road to Irithyll Dungeon
The passageway to the location can be found at the bottom of Irithyll of the Cold Valley. When you find yourself under the bridge (a place with swamps), go to the sewers, and then a little further. In the building shown in the screenshot, you will find the Distant Manor bonfire. Further, the road leads to the underground.
Go up the stairs from the fire. Pay attention to the enemies that seem to be running away - when you get close, an ice knight will jump from behind the wall, and those same enemies will quickly return. Below you will find another opponent, watch out for his fireballs. Use the torch after clearing the area to lighten the area and pay attention to the two opponents hiding in the dark. Here you will find Large Titanite Shard. Head back up, but don't use the ladder this time - instead, jump to the next platform. On the body you will find a rusty gold coin.
Immediately after leaving the building, you will be attacked by Alva, Seeker of the Spurned. He has a large sword and a crossbow. You will have a good chance when the crossbow is reloading - it is better to jump towards the enemy and carry out an air attack. Watch out for his deadly attack, three consecutive sword strikes. During the battle, you can try to push the enemy towards the cliff. For winning the battle, you will receive the Mirakumo sword.
Note: If you do not defeat the enemy, you will not find his set at the bottom of the dungeon.
Prison
A little further you will find the first bonfire, which is located in the Irithyll Dungeon. Walk forward and collect the rusty coin from the cage on the left side (watch out for the skeleton that appears shortly after). The next square on the left contains a Large Titanite Shard. The door on the right side is temporarily locked (return here with the Jailbreak Key), so leave the hallway using the road ahead.
Watch out for a new enemy who is very dangerous. In addition to a normal attack - a burning iron on the ground - that deals a lot of damage and knocks you down, the enemy can raise their lamp. If he does this, you have no chance - you will be killed very quickly, since escaping will not save you from shortening your life bar (you will need to be very far away or hide behind a wall so that the enemy does not see you). Your health will drop until the enemy drops the lamp or dies. In addition to this, you must wait until everything comes back and then heal with Estus. Because of this, kill every enemy of this type as quickly as possible, and wait for your health to be restored before moving on.
In the hallway, you will find a faded soul and a skeleton that will jump out of the cage on the right side. When you go further, watch out for two opponents who can ruin your life - wait for one of them to go further into the room, passing through the bridge. Only then should you move forward, quickly kill one of the opponents, and then focus on the skeletons and the remaining enemy.
Walk to the end where you will find Large Titanite Shard and get down.
Note: There is a window in the place with the shard that can be opened with a key. A shortcut that allows you to bypass the prison will allow you to do this in the future.
Pay attention to another guard behind the stairs. In order to take full advantage of your advantage, jump on it from the stairs and perform an attack from above. This should drastically reduce his health and knock him to the ground, allowing him to quickly finish him off. Then take care of the cells, one by one. Inside you will find opponents that are familiar to you from the Settlement of the Undead. Turn right towards the passage to the bottom of the corridor to collect the Large Soul of the Nameless Soldier (watch out for the undead that wait behind the pillar).
Note: The cage that is located here can also be opened after obtaining the key in the Corrupted Capital.
At the end of the corridor, you will also find a cage with undead - quickly kill them, so that they do not infect you (toxic bugs), and collect the Old Witch Doctor's set. Open the cage at the end and quickly jump away from the monster. Lure him into the hallway, where you have more room, and kill him (he's vulnerable to fire) to get a magic shield.
Now head back up and cross the bridge to the second part of the dungeon.
After you find yourself on the other side, turn right and run to the jailer so that he does not have time to suck the life out of you. Then quickly turn around and kill the skeletons coming out of the cages. Here you will find Large Titanite Shard.
The adjacent cell contains a hole in the wall (screenshot). Go to the next room, take the pine resin and go around the strange creature. In the hallway, even higher, go to one of the cells where you will find the Jailbreak Key.
This will allow you to open a window in the first part of the prison (turn right from the fire at the entrance, bypassing the two prison guards, and run to the end). After opening the window, you can use the shortcut that allows you to bypass part of the prison.
Be careful in the area shown in the screenshot. There, you'll find three guards that you definitely don't want to fight at the same time. It is difficult to lure them out one by one, since they are next to each other. Try to kill them by jumping from above, closest to the stairs so that others cannot see you. Then, after restoring stamina, run to the nearest enemy and destroy him as quickly as possible. With a bit of luck, you will be left with one foes face to face and you will still have full health. After defeating him, go to the cell on the left, where you will find a deformed creature, similar to the one that you bypassed earlier - only now it is not so convenient to do it. Run into the cage and immediately attack him. Then collect a Simple Gem.
Walk to the next part of the corridor, observing the two cells that guard the entrance (remember that you can block and check which cells are enemies). In the hallway, you will see a lizard - if you hurry and quickly kill it, you will receive a Titanite Shard, but you must watch the monster jumping from the left side. After killing the lizard, focus on this monster. Then you can additionally open another cell nearby and kill another monster.
Finally, go outside through the open passage.
Outside
Take the Bone Homeward after leaving the prison. Pay attention to the rocks on the right side - this is the place that you can reach by getting out through the window (opened with the Jailbreak Key, here you will find the Dragoncrest ring). A little further there are three opponents who stand in front of the entrance to the building - be careful, as you can be attacked from behind.
Go inside and see a chest - this is Mimic. For defeating him, you will receive a valuable shard of Estus. A little further, make sure that you do not reach the end of the corridor, as several opponents will go from there. If you previously cleared the entrance to the building, lure some of the opponents below. On the body on the right side, you will find the Soul of a Weary Warrior. Go below.
You will find yourself in the place shown in the screenshot. There is a giant; you could approach it from the other side by going down the stairs located in the hallway you just came from (giant blocks of the road where the lizard and the Soul of the Crestfallen knight are located; you can collect these items, stab the giant and thus , wake him up). You will find yourself at the top later, going there from the Fel Capital.
Channels
Turn left and pick up a pickaxe nearby. Enter the channels and kill some rats. For now, ignore the right path and go straight to the end. Take the Soul of the tired out on your way.
You will find yourself near a wall with two chests. The chest on the right is safe and contains an old key (required to open Siegward's cell in the Defiled Capital). The chest on the left is a Mimic, slightly more dangerous than the ones you've encountered before. He will not try to catch you, but will jump towards you, knocking you down (the damage is equally high). For this reason, try dodging quickly as the Mimic prepares to jump. For defeating him, you will receive a dark clutch ring.
Attention: You must act quickly here, as after opening the chests, basilisks will appear, releasing a poisonous mist (if you stay within its reach for too long, the curse will cause immediate death). For this reason, focus all your attention on the Mimicry and then run as fast as you can, because in the narrow corridor you can be easily poisoned.
Now enter the rat den, which is on the right side of the canal entrance. After you enter, quickly run towards the large tunnel, luring out two large rats that will rush after you. The small passage makes it impossible to dodge, which is much easier to do in the main tunnel. After you deal with them, return to the tunnel, take the dung pie and open the gate.
Road to the Defiled Capital
You will find yourself in the place shown in the screenshot. Take the Large Titanite Shard on the left side. There are many guards in the room, so a direct attack would be suicide. Instead of attacking, go around the middle of the room and turn left, following the stairs to the upper level.
Next to the bodies of the knights, you can find the Dragon Torso Stone and take the elevator further. While riding the elevator, look at the body on the window (you can jump while riding to pick up the Glowing Sword). At the top of the elevator, take the Nameless Soldier's Large Soul and open the gate. This shortcut will take you to a different part of the prison.
Return to the bonfire, across the bridge, and then jump down on the left side.
Then go down again and avoid the center of the room for a while. Instead, go to the dark room on the left. There you will find five monsters. Try to focus your attack on one to kill it and focus on the next one (it is a good idea to use ranged weapons that can make the fight easier). You will find Fel Ember near the body. Finally, open the gate on the right.
This is a great place to lure single enemies in the middle of a room. They cannot reduce your health when they are behind a wall; in addition, the attracted enemies will enter the room one at a time. Using this method, you can kill each of them, or at least more, which will allow you to clear the room. In order to attract enemies, use throwing knives or a spell, so that you do not have to risk your health.
When you clear the hall, start looking for items, of which there are quite a few. In the middle, you can find Ember, further to the right, a complete set of Alv (near the urn; you can only find it here if you defeated Alv during the fight before entering the dungeon). Further on the right, you can find the second Ember. The cell on the left contains the desert ash and the Dusk Crown ring (and a little surprise ...) In the corridor in front of the cell, you can see a chest, or rather, a facial expression that imitates it. Kill him to obtain two Titanite Shards. On the other side there is a cage, opening which, you will release the enemy with a cross on his back. Be careful - he is fast and strong (you can also leave the cage closed). And finally, you can face the last guard in the corridor, and you will see the cell that is currently closed (as with other closed cells, you can open it with the key acquired in the Defiled Capital).
And finally, go outside, towards the Defiled Capital. In order to collect all the items and complete some tasks, you will have to return here, but you can do this with the help of returns from the Fel Capital.
