American Dreams is one of the Strange Missions in which you have to find a serial killer leaving traces of his crimes around the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. Use the guide below to help you complete this quest.
Location of the first clue
To start the quest, go to the above location, which is located south of Wallace Station. Here you will find a dismembered body with a letter next to it that says, "Do you see?" Next to the body on a rock lies a severed head with a note inside. Take the note to get the first clue - part of the drawing showing the location. To complete the task, you need to collect two more.
Location of the second clue
Located east of Braithwaite Estate. Here you will find a tree with the word Behold, along with a second dismembered body. Just like last time, we need to find the key. Look for the second severed head on the other side of the tree.
Location of the third clue
Note: this time, the prompt may not appear immediately. In my case, I had to sleep 24 hours to get it.
South of Valentine, under a small railroad bridge. You will see a body on the tracks with “Look on My Works” written on the rock next to it. The severed head with a final clue is nailed to a support at the far west end of the bridge. Once you pick it up, you have a map that shows the location -
What's inside the locked basement of Lucky's hut?
Lucky's hut is located west of Valentine. When you get to the place, you will see that the house is half destroyed, but the locked basement has survived. Use the code from the card to open it and get inside. In the basement you will find several corpses - go to the very end and examine the knife on the wall. The cut-scene will start.
During the video, a killer will attack you, who will knock you down, and you will wake up already on the ground. Then you will need to start fighting with him, but do not shoot him, otherwise the mission will fail! Once you beat the assassin in a fist fight, take him to the sheriff in Valentine to complete the mission. You will be paid $ 22 for this.
