Between the 5th and 6th story chapters of Red Dead Redemption 2, a stranger with another Strange mission will appear in the northern part of the map (near Lake O'Crea). When you get closer to the location, you will hear a man calling you. Talking to him will start a questline with a veteran hunter, during which you have to do many things, including finding the horse of old man Hamish named Buel.
The old man is on the road from the Three Sisters, and luckily the horse will also be nearby - next to the lake, right up the road. Go to the marker on your map and find a horse near the shore. Before you can approach her, the animal needs to be calmed down, but it won't take long. Once you calm the horse, saddle it and return to Hamish. This will complete the first of four new side quests, so head to the old man's house the next day.
If you continue this questline, you have a chance to keep Buel for yourself - this will increase your honor. So make sure you have a place in the stable, and don't forget to take it after completing the last mission, otherwise you will miss this opportunity.
