Pyre Guide: 20 Tips for Beginners

1. The Rites are very dynamic, so using a gamepad will give you maximum control over your character. If you can, plug in a PS4 controller.

2. Before starting the game, you must choose one of the three available difficulty levels. If you later find that the enemies are too easy (or, on the contrary, difficult), you can always change the difficulty in the options.

3. If you feel that the fight will end badly for you, you can restart the game without affecting the story.

4. Before each battle, you can study the statistics of enemies and, based on this, choose your team.

5. Always try to go through all dialogue options - sometimes characters may receive small bonuses to the next ritual at the end of the conversation. If you don't want to wait, scroll through the list of dialogs.

6. If you are playing on PC, be careful not to accidentally press the Esc key - this will send you directly to the main menu without saving any results.

7. Outcasts cannot learn more than four skills that are unlocked by leveling the character (there are 5 levels of experience). Plan the development of each character in advance - you can pump two trees as much as possible.

8. Avoid the enemy's aura during rituals. If you touch it, your character will be exiled within a certain period of time.

9. Placing two characters next to each other unifies their auras, increasing your range.

10. The game is saved automatically. Look at the top right corner - when the save icon appears (a line passes through a few points), you can exit the game without losing progress.

11. Remember that during the ritual you can only control one hero at a time. The rest will be vulnerable to enemy attacks.

12. Remember - you can jump over the enemy's aura to avoid damage.

13. Also remember that you can throw the orb right up to the enemy bonfire - unless you have an alternative, of course. When you do this, your hero will not be exiled, unlike when he jumps directly into the fire.

14. Watch out for talismans that can be filled with stardust. This will help you gain an advantage over your enemies during rituals.

15. When you get the chance, go to the trailer to talk to your team or look at the book. This will help you learn new things.

16. Running with the sphere to the fire will give more points, but the character who manages to carry it to the very end will be exiled for a moment. Before deciding on this, think about how many glasses you need. Instead of working with one character without any plan, try passing the orb between your teammates. This will force the enemy to split their troops, allowing you to get an easier score.

17. When choosing your team, try to balance performance and skills. Choosing two fast characters and one strong one will allow you to carry out quick attacks, but at the same time it will not leave you unprotected.

18. When choosing a team, do not forget about equipment - move the necessary items to the inventory of the characters that you are going to use.

19. It's also worth keeping in mind that the Beyonder Crystal allows you to complete three Scribe Trials in which only one character participates. The hero moves into a 1-versus-3 game that will put your skills to the test. If you succeed, you will receive a powerful talisman suitable for this character.

20. Remember that when your character reaches the correct level, you can free him from the Purgatory. Any character that has been freed will never return, so to keep the team together you need to have versatile squads - don't play the same configuration every time so everyone goes evenly.
