Although the battles in the game are your everything, they are not as exciting as we would like. You can watch the battle go on, but you don't have much of an impact on the outcome. Space battles are pretty simplistic. First, you must force your enemy to stay in the system using the blockade order (the one with the shield symbol). If the enemy fleet is still in the system, select the attack icon (crossed swords). You can now see the initial battle screen. You can make some preparations here. After choosing your tactics and placing your units, you can continue the battle. You do not have direct control over your fleet during the battle, but there are several things you can do that will bring you victory.

Before the battle, you can choose which ships belong to one of three strike groups: flanks and center. Place your ships considering the tactics, range and armament of your fleet.

Choose the right tactics.

You can choose several tactical cards. They represent special behavior for your ships during battle. The cards tell you two things. First, you can see the default placement of your fleet. Second, you can check bonuses for your entire fleet - like better projectile defense or more powerful shields. If you have a lot of ships equipped with melee weapons, you can choose appropriate tactics that will allow you to get close. Is your fleet mostly armed with missiles? Choose a tactic in which your ships will stay away from the enemy.

Make an admiral commander of the fleet.

You must assign him to the squad before the start of the battle. The admiral's ship does not count towards the command points of the fleet and is generally very useful, especially at the beginning of the game. It is best when the hero has at least one or more abilities that can help your fleet.

The easiest solution to win the battle:

- Several fleets (they can finish off a wounded enemy);

- A more numerous fleet (your army will receive a small bonus to the attack, but you need more command points);

- Larger ships in your fleet (a medium ship requires 3 command points, which can be converted into 3 small ships, but its firepower is banally higher than that of a group of small ships);

- And better weapon and defense modules on ships.
