In this article, I'll walk you through the best way to get started with the right starting character in Durango: Wild Lands. But first, a quick overview of all the heroes:
Engineer
Office worker
Pupil
farmer
Maid
Soldier
A housewife
Employed
The best heroes to start
Employed (protection)
The character's initial skill is level 20 protection, which means that you can pump points into him as you level up.
Defense skills are difficult to train because you have to perfectly dodge incoming attacks and choose the right time to throw. Of course, it will get easier as you get used to the game, but good defense will be a great bonus in the future.
These skills will come in handy during dinosaur fights, increasing your defense, health and evasion. All this will help you hold out longer, avoid enemy attacks, and counterattack.
If you think it doesn't matter, imagine that you are fighting a dinosaur with your bare hands and no protective equipment.
farmer
This is another skill that is quite difficult to level up if you don't have a strong starting base. In the role of a farmer, you will be able to process corn, onions, potatoes and pumpkin; make a small field and fertilize; and also learn how to grow ume trees, Mr. Lincoln's roses and sunflowers.
This is another great way to start Durango in my opinion, especially if you love farming and all the bonuses that come with it. The rest of the classes improve quite easily and do not require specific skills (I mean, you just have to walk around and collect everything you can).
