Gofannon's Forge is the second Black Armory forge in Destiny and was added in the Black Armory update. In this guide, you will learn how to get the forge related quest and how to complete it.
How to start the quest "Forge of Gofannon"
First you need to kill one Fallen and get a blue item called Black Armory Stolen Armor. You can try to get this item by killing Captains and Dreg, but the result is not guaranteed.
As soon as you get the Black Armory equipment, go to Ada and talk to her so that she will give you more tasks and missions.
Collect 35 altered materials
To get the video altered footage, you will need to perform accurate Fallen kills across the galaxy. You don't need to kill them in any particular place - just find the enemy and get started. When you have made 35 such kills, go to the Tangled Shore location and talk to the Spider.
Quest "A needle in a haystack"
The spider will give you the "Needle in a Haystack" quest, but in order to complete this mission, you need to complete two other quests. In the first, you need to find the wanted Fallen, who escaped from the cryocapsule during the event in Thieves' Haven, and in the second, defeat the Fallen in close combat on the Tangled Shore.
Quest "Arsenal Fighters"
In this quest, you need to find caches of the Fallen in the Lost Sectors of the EDZ, which are large black boxes. Keep doing this until the game prompts you to stop.

Quest "Delivery Sivix"
Here you will need to kill several valuable targets, which are indicated by a large yellow health bar. They are easy to find at any public event.
The beginning of the quest "Forge of Gofannon"
Travel to the Lost Sectors of Ness and then follow the quest marker. Here you will need to complete the mission, and then go to the Forge of Gofannon.
The Forge is located on Nessus, in the "Artifact's Edge" sector. Here, in the gorge, you will find a wrecked ship - go inside through the entrance on the ship's ledge. Once inside, just follow the corridor and eventually you will reach the forge.
Now head to Ada, who will give you a basic sniper rifle frame.
