Not a single hospital can do without staff who take care of the maintenance, performance and functionality of the polyclinic. In total, Two Point Hospital has five categories or attributes that can be assigned to an employee.
To get started, hire new employees from a dedicated menu. Next to each potential employee, you will see a star rating that lets you know how valuable the specialist will be.
The higher the number of stars, the more qualified the employee will be. However, a higher ranking means a higher salary.
Staff can be trained using the Start Training feature, which will allow employees to acquire new skills or improve existing ones.
A higher-level employee will have more opportunities. Each specialist needs to build a special office; the hospital should also have sufficient toilets and vending machines for food and drinks. This will boost their morale and stamina.
If employee morale is low, you risk losing it. In addition, if a worker does not replenish stamina, they will be inactive, which will cause long lines and other problems.
Finally, to keep things simple and effective, you need to make sure that doctors are not assigned to work in multiple areas. This is a risk that can lead to the fact that some offices are not efficient enough.
To fix this, go to the Appointment tab and clear any other assignments for each employee so that doctors don't change their jobs. Now let's talk about the categories of professionals.
Doctors
They are presented in three specializations or subcategories - diagnosis, treatment and research. Each one has its own characteristics and is suitable for specific areas where they work best.
Specialists in the first subcategory are focused on diagnostics, so they can improve the skill of diagnosing diseases by 10%. They shouldn't be your top priority!
Next comes the Attending Physicians, who monitor the patient's mortality. For this reason, they should be your top priority. Try to teach them new abilities and maintain overall morale by:
Finally, the research category has a low priority, as the happiness level of these staff does not affect anything. You just keep giving them good equipment, but you don't have to build fantastic classrooms specifically for them.
Nurses
There are two categories here - general practice and treatment. The first has a lower priority because these personnel are only involved in diagnostics and general tasks. In the second, try to pump new skills, because the attending nurses will treat patients, help doctors in operations, and sometimes even work instead of doctors.
You can train them to receive an additional 50% to study and teaching.
Assistants
They work with a queue of patients. Improve their skills, because this way they will be able to quickly let go of the sick, eliminating any inconvenience. Make them happy and you have workers who can work with patients very quickly.
When it comes to leveling up, focus on a 50% bonus to Customer Service and lower stamina cost. The latter skill will allow longer shifts for one assistant.
In addition, pumping assistants will make it possible to save on registrars; they can also help you advertise the hospital.
Cleaners
They take care of cleanliness, from toilets to ghosts, worms and almost any other problem. Speed is key here, so with abilities that support maintenance and motivation, you will have cleaners whose speed attribute will increase by 40%.
You can also put coffee vending machines in the staff room to keep your employees in good shape.
Teachers
They act as an alternative to hiring trainers, which are quite expensive. With this method, you can select a staff member and train them in teaching skills so that you can then train your doctors for free.
Also, explore the Teaching Masterclass ability, which will add an extra 50% to the teaching skill itself. For an even greater bonus, provide instructional charts and information charts in classrooms.
