Army
Lizards are essentially beasts. To get the most out of your units, it's best to split them into cheap skins and sauroses. The Sauri can hold your front lines and take the brunt of the attack, while Skinks can be used for flank and rear attacks and redeployment to the battlefield.
Try to use Sauri against slower enemy units. When your lizards go into a state of frenzy, they begin to deal an incredible amount of bonus damage, but during this time you cannot control them. So make sure they are in the thick of the battle at times like these.
Skins tend to attack and flee, so use them to clear the battlefield for the main forces. Also remember that your magic is very long-range and is best used to destroy enemy artillery, which is one of those units where the Lizardmen are far behind all other races.
Campaign
Lizardmen are pretty quick to develop and have many buildings that are used to enhance their abilities on the campaign map. The best way to play this race is to create ambushes and constantly move through many battles. Don't be afraid to cut alliances for your own personal gain.
To expand the territory, it is best to use a geomancy network map. Always try to expand where there is a geomantic connection. When you conquer a territory, try to improve it to the maximum. The more you control the geomancy networks, the more useful it becomes. When you take full control of a province, remember to always upgrade there.
The best ritual is Ferocity. Use it during the war to quickly replenish your army.
Economy
Unlike the gnomes, the Lizardmen are not overly dependent on the economy. The main way to advance the economy of this race is to pump the geomantic web and related buildings. If you are going to get serious about the economy in a province, it should be filled with stone markers and stones in small settlements.
For resource extraction, try to create any building you can, and always invest in geomancy buildings.
Technology tree
Technologically, lizardmen are pretty conservative. New knowledge is unlocked based on buildings, so there is no particular need to pay attention to the tree. Try to be flexible about what you research - it is best to have many different research directions.
You should definitely have a Pool, Temple of the Ancients and Geomancy Pillar. Among other things, these buildings will open up exploration for you in the middle of the tree, allowing you to complete all of your exploration lines.
Campaign for Mazdamundi
Your main focus should be on the Skeggi to the west and the Skaven to the north. You will need to reorder your main province, and the best way to do this is to build an underground lagoon and then a monument to the ancients.
Defeating Skeggie is pretty easy. Destroy them near the Monolith of Fallen Gods, and then buy a second Lord and order him to create his powers. Send Mazdamundi's army forward and make sure you don't auto-battle as you will lose cavalry.
Use the army of the second lord to scout and begin to conquer the northern lands. Capture settlements, and then begin to improve their defenses.
Now you must capture the capital of Keggie. Send Mazdamundi north to capture the last settlement in your main province, then start building defenses and new units. After about 25 turns, you will have enough stacks to start your first ritual. You must defend Causeway Chotek, Ziguratta of Dawn and Hexoatl.
Destroy any armies that come to your province, then send a second lord south and west to expand your lands. There is a chance that he will come under attack, so it is worth acquiring a third lord.
Finally, destroy all Skaven to the north and take over the province to turn it into an economic resource. Remember that while playing as the Lizardmen, it is best to always keep an eye on the income level.
