There are different endings available in 2D RPG The Vagrant, but this guide will show you how to unlock the correct ending.
Pick up an item in the Residential Quarter
Travel to the Living Quarter and head left until you reach a room located directly in front of the bonfire. From there, head back up and head left where you will see a platform. To get to it, you need to double jump.
To successfully climb onto the platform, you must use the Heaven's Fall skill, which will give you an extra boost. Once you get there, you will find a cave where you will come across a hidden mini-boss with high health. Defeat him and you will receive the item.
Take the Club Key
Head to the fast travel point at Church of Seudor, then go to the young child. Talk to him and start a fight. You will enter the battle with the boss - defeat him and you will receive the club key.
Take the DIAMOND KEY
Head to Blue reel Village and go straight ahead until you reach a little boy. Talk to him and start a fight. You will enter a battle with a boss - defeat him and you will receive a diamond key.
Take the Key of the Heart
Head towards the Throne Room and from there go straight ahead until you reach a small child. Talk to him and start a fight. You will enter the battle with the boss - defeat him, and you will receive the required key.
Go to Coffinhead
Go to the fast travel point in Coffinhead and then go to the room on the left. From there, climb a few platforms until you see a cave entrance on the left side. Inside the cave, you will find a large door - use the keys you found earlier.
From this door you have to go through several stages and at the end you will face the Boss. It doesn't have a lot of health, but it does huge damage, so be careful.
Once you defeat him, go through the rest of the game and end it by killing the last boss. After watching the cutscene, you will get a true ending.
