Money at Staxel is called Petals and there are many ways to make it. Here are some ideas for making money fast:
Buy a bug net and a fishing rod from the supermarket. Yes, separately beetles and fish do not cost so much, but if you catch more of them and sell them, then a good amount will come out.
Explore other biomes looking for unique items. One of the best places is the beach, where you can find shells, corals and other items that can be sold for a decent amount of money. Also, if you take a fishing rod with you, you can catch some fish in the ocean.
You can sell raw materials such as stones and wood. However, you may need them for construction.
This is an obvious fact, but worth mentioning: Plant seeds and water them daily to grow crops.
When you cut down trees or clear areas of grass / weeds, you can sometimes find Star Jelly. Selling one of these jelly will earn you 210 petals!
Indecent ways to make money
There are several other get-rich-quick methods in the game, but they are morally questionable:
Everything can be disassembled in Staxel, which means that the easiest way to make a lot of money in a short amount of time is to disassemble someone's house or part of a village and sell blocks and furniture. This is by far the easiest way to save up a lot of money quickly (a fountain alone costs 1200 petals).
The villagers seem to be unresponsive to this. According to the Staxel team, this has consequences, but so far they have not been seen. Keep in mind that the game is in Early Access and this aspect of the game is likely to change!
You can also steal money from cash registers in rural stores, but this is not profitable, as it makes them unusable for a while.
If you are ashamed to steal from the villagers, there is an abandoned market on the outskirts of the city that you can take apart and sell.
Better ways
Getting money quickly is a good way to get started, but you can create a more sustainable and long-term scheme. The best way to make money at Staxel is farming. Planting and harvesting as well as raising livestock and chickens provide you with a continuous source of income. Of course, this will take more work.
Making money on animals:
Take a chicken coop and build a barn. You can buy a chicken coop, feeders and groceries from the supermarket in the village, and a barn can be built with Alisa's help at the start of the main quest line.
Build an apiary to collect sweet honey.
Animals are investments that will only bring you profit if you take proper care of them. Happy, well-fed animals produce items that you can sell; sad and hungry - no.
Cows and other livestock produce natural fertilizer in the form of manure on a daily basis. Don't waste money on store-bought fertilizers - just use your livestock droppings to get the best yield.
Collect any wonderful water you find on the market to shorten the growth time of your crops. It is best used on the most expensive seeds.
Some of the items you get from your livestock (such as wool) can be used as materials to craft items that cost more than raw materials.
Making money from the harvest:
Use a seed maker to get special high quality gold seeds.
Make sure you plant your seeds at the right time of the year so that they have enough time to mature before the end of the season.
Don't Plant Too Much Of The Same: While prices for most items are fixed, there is an element of supply and demand in the game, and selling large quantities of crops will ultimately lower their price.
Don't forget about trees and berry bushes. Fruit trees are a great way to get petals, but they take longer to make a profit. However, when they are ripe, the fruit will continue to grow after you have picked them, as long as the season goes on.
As with animals, some crops are more expensive in a different form. Turn fruits into jelly and berries into jam for a net profit.
