Krobus is in the sewers, where you can get with the Rusty Key (it will be given by Gunther in exchange for 60 artifacts), using it on a hatch in the city or on a grate in Cindersap Forest.

Now you need to ask Krobus to move in with you as a friend. To do this, get a special item called the Ghostly Void Pendant.
Where can I get the Ghostly Void Pendant?
As with the Mermaid Pendant, this item can be given to Krobus to move to you. First you need to achieve the maximum level of hearts in your relationship with Krobus. Then head to the merchant in the Calico Desert, who will sell you a pendant for 200 Essence of the Void. Give it to Krobus and he will move in with you.
Krobus room
When Krobus moves into your house, he will receive his own room, which is a sewer. During the day, Krobus hangs out in the house, and at night he will go to his sewer room. If you return to the sewers instead of Krobus, you will find a chest with a note that says to leave the payment in the box. It contains all of Krobus's inventory that you can keep buying.
