Gold cannons in games are usually cosmetic in nature, but in Prey (2017) golden pistol "Artemis" does more damage and is more accurate than silenced pistolwhich you will find at the beginning of the game.
- First you need to get to Talos I Arboretum.
- Once in the area, find a glass observation room.
- Break the glass and go to the screen. Make sure that one of the fallen boxes becomes a mimicry.
- Use the Gypsum Cannon to climb up the mine.
- When you reach the top level, you will find the body of Marietta Kirkos, who is holding an audio recording and a key card.
- After listening to the recording, you should receive a side quest with a golden weapon.
- Follow the quest sign to Jada Marks' safe in the Crew Quarter.
Since you have already listened to the sound recording, you should already have the code for the safe. Just in case, it's 9712.
- Open the safe and retrieve Artemis's golden pistol and weapon upgrade kit next to it.
