One of the most important elements in the game is crafting, since it is very important that your character is in the best armor and with the best weapons, and your house is well fortified.
Collection of materials
Basic materials can be easily found simply by exploring the game world. Rocks and twigs are everywhere, while plant fibers can be obtained from simple bushes. After you learn the Apprentice Artisan lore (level 2), you will unlock the stone ax recipe, which allows you to chop down trees and collect firewood.
Other resources take a little more effort. You will have to look for iron and coal deposits from which you can get ore. This requires the knowledge of a blacksmith (level 10) to build a furnace and smelt ore into usable materials.
Craft
Manually: Many basic items, and even some additional ones, can be crafted directly from the inventory screen. If you have enough resources in your inventory, just select the item you want to make, click Craft and wait.
At the station: Crafting with a workbench is also not a hassle for you. Here you have to add your materials to the central pool, after which the process is the same. Finished items will be displayed in the same pool.
Keep in mind that some types of stations require fuel to operate; for example, a furnace needs coal to keep the fire going while melting.
