Step 1: Get SteamCMD
https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/client/installer/steamcmd.zip
Step 2
Extract the contents of steamcmd.zip to a folder of your choice.
Step 3
Open a terminal window to the folder you selected.
Step 4
Create a separate folder for server installation. (For example, C: \ Exiles)
Step 5: To get the server, run the following commands:
login anonymous
force_install_dir C: \ YOURFOLDERNAMEHERE
app_update 443030
quit
(On first launch, as well as in some other cases, SteamCMD will fix itself before starting to work)
Step 6: Server start
Please make sure you are not running Steam. If you do, you will see some DLL related errors (which you can ignore).
From C: \ Exiles, run the following command: ConanSandboxServer.exe
By default, UDP ports 27015 and 7777 will listen. You may need to add an exception to your firewall to get the server to show up in the Steam server list.
Then you can use the following command line parameters, for example:
ConanSandboxServer.exe -log -MaxPlayers = 16
Other parameters that servers may need include:
-log
MaxPlayers = 70
ServerName = ConanExilesServer
MULTIHOME = aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd (select network interface by ip)
QueryPort = 27015 (Steam query port)
