1. You start out with basic buildings. They serve as a starting point for further expansion of the colony, so anything that is built in the future must be connected to these buildings. Tunnels are the best option, as they do not reduce the contentment of the colonists, unlike direct connections.
2. Try not to play as much as x2 (unless this is an extreme case). At high speeds, the situation in the colony can quickly spiral out of your control.
3. The main building units in the game are nanite robots. Therefore, in order to avoid problems, it is necessary to first build a nanite plant and an iron mine.
4. If you are short of workers, you can prioritize employment in some buildings.
5. Colonists don't like long journeys. If a building is too far from residential buildings, your population will not go to work, even if you change your employment priorities.
6. If there are unemployed in the colony, when placing a building that needs workers, you will see yellow arrows. They indicate that employees will go to the building.
7. Most of the buildings in the game have several versions. Initially, you will only have the main building. After fulfilling the conditions necessary to unlock the next version, you can freely upgrade the old buildings.
8. Construction drones have a certain radius of operation, which you can see while building a drone station, or by clicking on an existing robot and selecting Show radius.
9. There is the will of the people in the game. When the population of a colony exceeds 100 people, a certain number of residents will organize a referendum. Don't underestimate the morale of the colonists, so try to provide a variety of food, clean air, or entertain them. If the colonists are unhappy, your support among the population will drop below 50%, and another referendum will mean you lose.
10. You cannot collect many resources for the future as you have limited storage space at your disposal. If you run out of space, production will stop. If you want to avoid this, you can expand it by building additional warehouses. Also control the ratio of the amount of extracted materials to their consumption. If possible, try to bring both of these values as close to each other as possible.
