Economy
Gold
There are two sources of gold in the game:
Gold management
Gold is a very important aspect of the game. It will help you move up the rankings and consolidate your position in the top 3. If you were able to break into the top 3 and face two opponents, it is better to stack 5+ gold coins than desperately trying to get over with just 10 gold coins each round.
As a general rule, always try to keep your gold in double digits (10, 20, 30, 40, 50) until the end of each round. Remember, you get 10% for every 10 gold you don’t spend. This will give you the maximum amount of gold to buy good items.
Placing heroes
Melee units
Tanks and warriors most often go to the front lines. Their goal is to take the brunt of the attack so the rest of your units can deal damage. Sometimes you need to place tanks in the back to counter specific enemy units. More on this below.
The killers
They are usually always placed in the back row or at the very edge of the board, as this reduces the enemy's chance of inflicting damage on them. Think of them as glass cannons: high damage but very fragile.
Ranged units
Consist of hunters, magicians, healers, etc. They usually stand in the back row. Compared to melee units, they do more damage. A typical combo would be with long-range units in the very back row and tanks in the front.
Building
Straight line
If you have mostly warriors and knights, place them as close to the enemy as possible so that they fight faster. Do not put all melee units in the second and third rows, because they will take longer to fight and have less influence. This strategy is also useful for assassins, but instead of putting them in the first row, you need to place them in the last row so that they will immediately attack the enemy lines.
Коробка
If you have ranged heroes like hunters and mages on your team, they will be your main source of damage, so it's best to protect them. You need to lure the enemy army, so place your units as far away from them as possible. Tank units like warriors and knights go to the second row, and attacking heroes must be in the first row so that they are the last units that the enemy will focus on.
Mass damage
If you notice that the enemy has a lot of heroes with a lot of Mass Damage skills, then you need to think about how to counter this. You can spread the pieces evenly on the board, forcing the opponent to do the same. This way, when the attack starts, only a few of your units will be affected. If it's the other way around, and you are one of the team members with Mass Damage, then make sure that your unit is as far away from the battle as possible.
The killers
If your opponent is in control of a squad of assassins, do not use your usual positioning of tanks in front and other units in the back. Remember the assassins will go into the background, so you will need some tanks protecting your attacking heroes in the back row to counter the assassins' high damage. Check your enemy's board to see how many assassins they have, and place appropriate tanks in the back row to protect ranged units. That being said, don't leave your front line completely defenseless. Place one or two tanks there to occupy the enemy front line.
Synergy
Synergy in Auto Chess Mobile is special passive and active skills that a hero gains if a certain number of figures of the same class or race are present in the game. They are very important and should always be considered when planning your strategies and tactics.
As a rule, class synergy is more important than racial synergy. Some classes are great early in the round, others are great in the middle, and some will become important later in the round.
Below is a short list of synergies:
