Archero Walkthrough - Chapter 8

01239433

The key tactic in the passage of the eighth chapter of Archero is to reload the bosses and rooms. Otherwise, the passage will become much more difficult.

The secret is to force close the application. When you return to the game and confirm that you want to continue, you will find yourself in front of the door to the boss room. DO NOT go through the door - instead force close the app a second time. When you return to the game and resume the passage, go through the door and another boss should be waiting for you. However, although the monster / boss will restart as new, your health will remain the same.

Known key skills (besides the usual good ones like Attack Boost, Critical Hit, Attack Speed, etc.):

Archero Walkthrough - Chapter 8 Archero Walkthrough - Chapter 8

  • Ricochet: vital skill for completing this chapter. Otherwise, you can literally be stuck in one room for 2-3 minutes (if you can survive that long).
  • Invulnerability: Has a 10 second interval between every 2 seconds of activation, so you can increase your chances of survival when entering a new room full of monsters at 8 second intervals. By doing it right, you can always go into full attack mode for the first 3 seconds by killing the nearest monster at the start. In addition, if you have Double Diagonal Arrow, you can use the 2 second invulnerability chance and attack bosses with extremely strong attack.
  • Flying Swords (Ice, Poison, Flame and Lightning): very useful in the final boss fight, which I will discuss in more detail later. Basically, you just run in circles around the enemy, so these swords will help you kill the boss much faster.
  • Ice Sword / Ice Balls: Quite useful in this chapter because many monsters rush right at you (bees, bats, slugs, wolves, etc.). It's helpful to have a defense mechanism that freezes monsters when they get too close to you.

If you took the scythe, then avoid the Ricochet Walls. Given the limited space and all the melee monsters, all of your scythes will bounce off the back wall and knock down enemies closer to you. For other weapons, feel free to use Ricochet Walls with Pierce, Diagonal Arrow, etc.

    Rooms 1-9

  • Red slugs: try not to get too close to them. Usually I just stay in one place until their projectiles get close, and then I abruptly go left / right.
  • Bees: slow and easy enemies. If there are walls between you and all the monsters, wait until the projectiles hit them, and then lure the bees to your side and attack them from behind the walls.
  • Green walking plants: Shoot three projectiles in a diagonal direction with the center projectile always aimed at you.
  • Red stationary plants: Shoot two projectiles towards your location.

    Rooms 11-19

  • Giant blue slugs: You will need an advanced attack and Ricochet skill.
  • The bats: Same view as previous levels, except that many of them are located at 3 and 9 o'clock right at the entrance to the room. In general, you just need to actively dodge and attack.
  • Rotating Golems: annoying but common enemies. In this case, you need to be able to dodge quickly, which is sometimes difficult to do when bats are around you, and giant blue slugs are spitting endless small drops ...
  • Scarecrow: All of these scarecrows shoot projectiles counterclockwise, so if you are standing in the very bottom left corner (either in the corner of the map or where the wall meets the bottom of the map), the projectiles will not be able to reach you, crashing against the edges of the map / wall to which you are "stuck". Typically, scarecrows work in conjunction with giant blue slugs, so the only thing you need to be careful with while standing in the corner are giant blue blobs that shoot blobs at you.

    Rooms 21-29

  • Bombers: Walk right up to the enemy, constantly dodging his shots. Attack only after they take a bombing break (after 4-5 bombs in a row).
  • Stump ghost: Shoots 8 rounds at a 45 degree angle to each other, so instead of standing between 90 degree intervals like the previous green stumps, stand between 45 degree intervals (e.g. 30 degrees) where the stump lands.
  • Red archer: Stand in the same plane as the monster so that its arrows are grouped in a line. As soon as the red lines disappear, immediately begin to move, constantly dodging the ricocheting arrows that do this along the line back and forth.

    Rooms 31-49

Basically, all the same monsters, only they have more health and damage, and a lot more projectiles. In these rooms, the skill "Invulnerability" is becoming more and more useful, but not required. For example, I passed them through luck, evasion and Ricochet.

    Bosses

I just reload the game until Queen Bee drops out in all 4 boss stages. The trick works if you haven't updated the game yet.

  • Bee queen: If you have good DPS and skills (like Diagonal Arrow + Ricochet), you can easily kill this boss without taking damage - just be careful with his super fast triple shot. If you have bad damage per second, avoid this enemy, because you simply won't have time to kill all the smaller minion bees before the Queen summons new ones.
  • Final Boss: It can be passed just by running around the location.
