AFK Arena - Walkthrough of Frosty Expanse

AFK Arena received update 1.29, and along with it, a new Wonderful Journey called "Frosty Expanse" appeared in the game.

• 3 Crystal Chests containing: 1. 500 diamonds
  2. An epic hero card (Estrilda, Nemora, Sartan or Nara)

  Recommended command

  There are several healing fountains on the map, and at the same time there are no mercenary camps, so your regular squad can handle the passage. If you have Nemora and Lucius, I recommend taking them with you.

  Passage of the Frosty Expanse

  ---

  Step 1

  

  The first step is to research the relics you can get and find out what they offer. Relics drop randomly, so you may have to restart your journey several times until you get relics that upgrade your team.

  Step 2

  Immediately after the start, you choose your first relic and go through the first battle, which will set the trees on fire. Use the snow cannon to clear the path. Now go downstairs and turn right.

  There is another relic here that you can quite easily collect along with several chests that contain boosters, as well as the first Crystal Chest with 500 diamonds.

  Step 3

  

  Once you're done with the bottom right side, head to the other side where you will see a small puzzle.

  Solving it is easy - just click on the button and freeze the right lake. Now move the snow cannon to the right side and activate it.

  The snow will put out the fire at the top, and you can continue on your way. First, head left, where you will find several chests, as well as a second Crystal Chest.

  Step 4

  

  Now go back - in the center you will see a large volume that needs to be used. This will open the way to a lot of chests behind it.

  Do not fight the boss for now, as you will need Talena's help, which you will receive after clearing the last location. If you start the boss fight now, you will get stuck and have to restart your journey.

  Step 5

  You will find another small puzzle where you need to place snowballs on the buttons using the snow cannon by toggling the yellow lever. The final result is shown in the screenshot:

  

  You will freeze the two lakes on the right side, and when done correctly, you can proceed further.

  Do not forget about the relic, as it will give the necessary buff to clear the location, which will open on the left side.

  Step 6

  

  In this part of the map, you will find a ton of chests and some enemies, as well as a third Crystal Chest.

  Step 7

  

  All you have to do is move the middle snowman to the top position so that the snowball stays on the top button. After that, you need to move the cart to the right (as shown in the screenshot) so that the second snowball from the top cannon of the snowman stays on the bottom button.

  This will freeze the two lakes that you need to go through in order to access all the remaining chests and enemies.

  Step 8

  

  In the upper right corner you will see a fire with a battle, for the passage of which you will receive Talena. You will need it to fight the boss in the center, which you missed in step 4. So, destroy the enemies and collect the reward.

  After that, you can go to the center and kill the boss, as well as collect the remaining chests.

  During the boss fight, you need to use Talena in the center of the room, otherwise you will get stuck!
