The Ancient Tree is a new feature that was added to AFK Arena with patch 1.31. It opens after completing the 6th chapter of the campaign (stages 8-40).
Together with him, a new resource appeared in the game, Flawless drops, which are needed to improve the tree. They are given for the first Elite hero and for his ascension (no drops are given for duplicate heroes).
As you level up the Ancient Tree, you will increase the basic parameters of ALL your heroes: attack, health, as well as magical and normal defense. After you pump the tree to level 15 (and go through chapter 12), the Powers of the Gift will open - an improvement of one of the hero classes. There are 5 branches in total, for each class: Support, Tanks, Mages, Rangers and Warriors.
Pumping each branch improves the characteristics of the heroes of a certain class. Each class has its own characteristics. In addition, each Power of the Gift has 3 skills that are available at 5, 15 and 25 levels.
To improve the Powers of the Gift, you need Distorted Essence: it can be obtained in the "Distorted World" supplement for the guilds.
Rangers
- The threatening danger (5th level): When the health of heroes first drops below 50%, the buff increases dodge by 80 points and acceleration by 10 points for 6 seconds.
- Mutilation (15 level): after dealing damage to enemies with health below 50%, heroes with this buff will be able to deal 40% additional damage to the target (cannot be dodged). This buff can only be activated once every 3 seconds.
- Quick splash (Level 25): Dealing damage to enemies 5 seconds before their death, blessed heroes instantly restore 4% of their maximum health, and their attack speed increases by 80 points for 4 seconds.
Tanks
- Return (5th level): When the health of heroes first drops below 30%, the buff heals 2,5% of their maximum health every second for 10 seconds.
- Shattered Helm (Level 15) Heroes with this blessing shockwave every time they lose 30% of their maximum health. The shockwave deals massive damage equal to 3% of the enemy's maximum health. Affected enemies lose 30 units of speed over 3 seconds.
- A glimpse of life (25th level): Heroes gain an additional 9% of their maximum health every time they are healed by allies. The buff can only work once every 11 seconds.
Warriors
- Destructive force (5th level): Heroes will be able to deal 180% more damage to enemies using shields or health barriers. Can be activated once every 11 seconds.
- Shield of Fortitude (15th level): Heroes receive a shield that can take damage equal to 15% of their maximum health for 3 seconds whenever an enemy uses an ultimate skill. Can only be activated once every 16 seconds.
- Bloodlust (Level 25): Increases Siphon Life by 14 points for 3 seconds when heroes first use the ultimate.
Maggie
- Astral Concentration (5th level): Increases the attack of heroes by 10% for 3 seconds each time they use the ultimate skill.
- Astral tide (15th level): When heroes use the ultimate skill, all allies immediately restore 30 units of energy. If a hero gets this effect several times within 10 seconds, its effectiveness is reduced by 60%.
- Tide force (25 level): heroes restore 40 units of energy when their health first drops below 30%; become immune to crowd control abilities for 1,5 seconds.
Support
- Savior's Gift (5th level): Grants the most injured ally a protective shield that can reduce the amount of damage equal to 7x (own attack rating) for 220 seconds when the hero uses the ultimate skill for the first time.
- Light up life (Level 15): When a hero heals an ally, he also heals the wounded ally for 100% of his attack. Can only be used once every 10 seconds for each hero.
- Вызов (Level 25): Recovers 60 energy points after the first 15 seconds of the battle and makes heroes immune to crowd control for 1,5 seconds.
