Rise of Kingdoms - Shadow Legion Invasion Guide

Basics

• During the event, a large number of Dark Fortresses will appear on the map.
• Alliance members of the 4th level and above can start the event at any time (note: the Alliance must have at least 30 members).
• As soon as the event begins, the Dark Fortress will send armies to attack the cities of the Alliance members.
• There will be 25 waves in total. Every 5th wave will consist of a light army.
• If the Governor's city is destroyed twice, the Governor is excluded from the event. If all members of the Alliance are destroyed, the event will end.
• Using a teleporter during an invasion by the Legion of Shadows will count as 1 Violation.
• If at least 15 participants survive in all 25 waves, the Alliance will gain access to the next difficulty level of the Invasion of the Legion of Shadows event. The Alliance Leader and Officers can select the difficulty in the event panel.
• The Shields of the World will not save you from the Legion of Shadows.
• The armies of the Shadow Legion have a variety of special skills.
• During each event, each alliance has only 1 chance to challenge.

How do I get points?

For defeating the army of the Legion of Shadows, you will receive individual points and alliance points.

There are several ways:

1. Just wait until your city is attacked.
2. Attack the marching units of the enemy in the open field.
3. Upgrade the cities of people who are being attacked.

The best commanders to defend

• Pelagius + Ylchi Mundok
• Sun Tzu + Ylchi Mundok

Just remember to leave your garrison commanders in your city to protect it while you help others.

Army

You need commanders who quickly move between cities. Therefore, it is best to use the cavalry.

Also, try to maximize your points by helping other players' cities.

Tips and hints

• You receive prizes only when your personal points, as well as the points of your Alliance, reach a certain level. For each completed event, you will receive a prize corresponding to the highest pumped level. Prizes are sent by in-game mail.
• If you leave your Alliance during the event, your individual points will be reset to zero.
• Each Governor can send only one army to attack the Legion of Shadows.
• The Peace Shield does not work in this event.
• There will be many great rewards during the event such as 100 gems, haste, etc.
