Desperados 3 Tips and Tricks for Newbies

Desperados 3 Tips and Tricks for Newbies

Desperados 3 has some very difficult missions, so I've prepared a guide with some tips and tricks.

  1. As soon as you enter a new location, immediately study the routes of all the guards. If it's too slow for you, just speed up the time (key X in the PC version).
  2. After stunning / charming enemies, immediately hide in a nearby bush. Otherwise, they will come to their senses in a short time and raise the alarm.
  3. Keep in mind that civilians will also raise the alarm if they notice anything unusual. So take them into account when planning and check their fields of vision.
  4. Hector Mendoza is the most powerful character in the game and the only one who can carry two bodies at the same time.
  5. When you pause the game, the overview map shows all remaining enemies. In addition, you can enlarge the mini-map (key M in the PC version).
  6. John Cooper only has one knife that you have to pick up after each throw. The same goes for Doc McCoy's suitcase and Hector's bear trap.
  7. Use camera rotation (Alt + Mouse on PC) to find objects behind large buildings or rocks.
  8. You can select all characters at the same time (key / in the PC version) to quickly send an entire squad to another location on the map.
  9. After starting a new mission, use the highlight function for interactive objects (key H in the PC version) and examine the entire map. This way you will not miss a single important quest item, enemy, etc. Pay particular attention to the climbing and ladder possibilities - on the rooftops you are invisible to the guards below.

If you know any other tips and tricks, write them down in the comments 🙂
