Anemoculi are a kind of in-game currency that is fairly easy to find in the open world of Genshin Impact. The object itself looks like a star hovering in the air, so it's hard to miss.
If you bring the anemokules to the special Statues of the Archons, then in return you will receive various bonuses: new sights on the map, fast travel points, healing of the squad's characters, as well as the ability to change the talents of the elements.
